A Little Bit Here & There
Thursday, April 30, 2009 || 7:46 PM

Well I've spent the last hour or so staring at my blog trying to tweak the layout a bit, kinda making it my own. It reminds me of way back in grade 8 when I had an asianavenue account, even though I'm not even asian. But all my friends were so screw it. I used to make my own layouts, thinking I was so pro. riiiight. I think back in grade 8 is one of the best memories I have. All of my closest friends were in the same class as me, and we kinda all just bonded with everyone else. Ya it sounds a weird 'cause you might say, "you were only in grade eight", but it was different.

I think the fact that I was moving from scarborough (yes I'm from scarbz, no I haven't been shot, seen someone get shot, and I haven't shot anyone) all the way to mississauga made us become closer. That's basically the other side of the world in a grade 8 girl's eyes. I knew all my friends in scarborough for eight years, and I was going to move away to some random place, full with construction, big houses, suburbs and snow. I remember crying in the stairwell with my bestfriend one day, because it felt like our world was falling a part. We used to call each other with our crappy cell phones, share clothes, have sleepovers, she went with me to out grade six grad when her parents wouldn't go, we were in band together (nerds), almost every sports team, I taught her how to shave, she taught me how to put on eyeliner...honestly this list could go on forever. Leaving there was kinda surreal. When I finally got to my house in mississauga I felt like I would fall asleep and wake up again in scarbs and realize it was all just a dream. But yeaa that never happened, it was for real.

Once that hit me, I realized that I had a fresh start in sauga. I went from the awkward and lost girl with glasses and braces to the girl who is growing into her own person.
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself. And somethimes good things fall a part so better things can fall together.

10 things I would say to 10 people:
1. i'm scared.
2. douche.
3. i'm so happy that you're finally happy.
4. ha, at least i know i made the right decision.
5. why?
6. i know you'll be awesome.
7. get over yourself.
8. i don't think you're ready.
9. i'm proud of you, and i know she is too.
10. i miss you
Someday, someone may make a movie of your life. Make sure it doesn't go straight to video.

Mmk so I've joined the trend and started a blog yay! I'm really bad with diaries, journals and such things, so I'm thinking maybe a blog will be different since I'm always on the computer anyway. I think blogs are kinda like something where you can share your deepest thoughts or even the most random thoughts &you just put it out there hoping someone reads it and they're going to be like "Me too!!!!!". You're putting yourself out there all exposed hoping someone joins you in your bravery, or weirdness.
So today my plans are to go get my CPR re-certification, fun stuff. Fours hours in a room with random people, playing with dummies. Well its all for nursing so its worth it in the end I must say. This is my second day of freedom from school and I can feel the boredom already starting to begin. I'm trying to come up with a list of things to do for the summer, all I've thought of so far is a picture diary thing. Basically you take a picture a day, and then you have an album of your summer. I know mine is going to end up mostly being pics of my cat, and whatever random stuff I see out my window.
Now I must leave to go save some dummies:]
