I really wonder how you feel on these nights so alone

Just another day
Thursday, June 25, 2009 || 12:21 AM

I have officially cleaned the five years of built up stuff in my room. It took me four bags of garbage to get everything cleaned out. I never realized how much things I've kept over the years stuffed into the corners of my closet, under my bed, hiding behind my door. It was actually kinda fun because I got to relive some memories while I was finding stuff. I found old doodles from french class waaay back in grade nine with Melea. I even found the paper/card that she made for my fourteenth birthday! I can't believe that was almost five years ago. Scary. Found old test and papers that I remember stressing over that mean absolutely nothing now. It's funny how that stuff back in the day was like the stress of my life. Now five years later I can put things into a better perspective. Because I don't remember what was on any of those tests and papers, but I remember all of the fun/happy/sad/exciting/horrible moments of high school. Most people either hated, loved or didn't give a crap about high school. I actually had fun. Ya there may have been some real shitty moments, but without those moments I wouldn't be this person. You may say that high school is nothing and post secondary or whatever you do after is really where you find yourself. But I think that high school perpared me for the change. It let me see what was wrong and right in my life. It let me know what I did and didn't want. It's like the prelude to what's next in your life. And I wouldn't change one moment of it if I could.
